Speech-language pathologist Jinger Lough became the seventh $100,000 bonus round winner of the season following her impressive performance on the May 26 episode. The official Wheel of Fortune Youtube channel revealed that her win marks the most $100K winners in a single season. Lough had a great night even before she went on to the bonus round with a total of $33,555 in regular gameplay winnings. During the bonus round, she chose the category “phrase,” and despite only having one letter on the board, she took a shot and correctly guessed: “on the bandwagon.” If that wasn’t enough to make jaws drop, host Pat Sajak then opened up the envelope and revealed that Lough’s lucky streak was just beginning as she landed an additional $100,000 in winnings. Amid the confetti celebration, Sajak revealed that Lough would be walking away with a total of $133,555! Fans watching at home immediately took to social media to celebrate the momentous occasion. “Jinger is the record-breaker!” one fan wrote, while another called her solve “unbelievable.” Another commented that “Season 39” was “so far the best season yet!!” One user emphasized that there were no $100,000 wins in the previous season of the game show: “We have the 7th $100,000 Win of the Season! After having no $100,000 Wins in Season 37. Season 38 and 39 made a good Comeback and has been doing very well with those $100,000 Wins! Feels like it’s Season 30 all over again!” Another joked that because of all the big wins, the show was likely “starting to run out of confetti.” Congrats to Lough on her achievement and to Wheel of Fortune on a massively successful season!  Next, Game Shows Then & Now!
