Matthew Morrison is out and Leah Remini is in as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance when the live shows begin on June 15 with the reveal of the Top 12 dancers for the season of the FOX reality competition on what will also mark the show’s 300th episode. “I am thrilled to join So You Think You Can Dance on its milestone 300th episode,” Remini said in a statement. “I look forward to guiding these incredibly talented artists through this competition as a fan of the show and a great admirer of dancers. I can’t wait to see the artistry that the contestants bring to the stage!” Morrison was ousted from the competition back in May at which time he released a statement that said he “did not follow competition production protocols, preventing me from being able to judge the competition fairly.” More information was forthcoming when People wrote that Morrison was cut due to an inappropriate relationship with a female contestant. According to an SYTYCD insider, “They didn’t have sex, but he reached out to her through flirty direct messages on social media. She felt uncomfortable with his line of comments and went to producers, who then got Fox involved. He was fired after they did their own investigation.” The two never met up off-set. “It was just messages that crossed the line,” the source said.

On a personally sad note, I have not been asked to be on the judging panel this season. I don’t know who will be saying ‘Cue Music’ but I wish them well.”
