The country singer shared a new video on social media today as she danced around on the streets of Nashville lip-syncing to her new song, “Giddy Up,” which is set to be released on her upcoming album, Queen of Me. In the clip, Twain, 57, sparkled through the Tennessee city, rocking a metallic cheetah-print mini dress, matching jacket, and blinged-out black cowboy hat encrusted with rhinestones. She captioned the hypnotizing snippet with lyrics from the song, “Getting litty in the city! 🤠.” The post immediately lit a fire in fans, who begged the artist to release the song early. “Giddy Up! For Christmas please 🙏🏼,” one Instagram user pleaded. “OMFG I NEED the full track ASAP 🔥,” wrote another. Twain previously teased the tune on TikTok in a Dec. 9 video that showed her in Switzerland peeling a protective sticker off the side of a train named after the star honoring her Tour-de-Peliz residency. “All aboard the Shania Train to Twain Town 😂 #switzerland #dayinmylife,” she joked in the caption. So far, Twain has only teased part of the song and hasn’t hinted at dropping the entirety of it as a single—although fans would appreciate the gesture. Unless her plans change, fans will have to wait until the album is released on Feb. 3, 2023.
