The 46-year-old actress posted a collage of photos–which she claimed to be from sometime in the 1990s– set to a sped-up version of the popular Wheatus song “Teenage Dirtbag.”  “Leaned into the ‘90s grunge trend, what can I say? 🤘🏻,” she captioned the series of throwback photos that she shared to Instagram.  In the video, Witherspoon shared a few of her most iconic looks from the early days in her acting career.  First up, was a photo snapped during the Dec. 1996 premiere of The People vs. Larry Flynt at Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California according to Getty. In this candid red carpet moment, the actress–who was 20 years old at the time–can be seen rocking a black crop top, silky scarf belt, velvet skirt, and simple silver jewelry while she stuck her tongue out for the camera.   The second photo showcased in the video is one that Witherspoon had previously shared on Instagram and admitted to being inspired by ’90s icons Drew Barrymore, Gwen Stefani, and Jared Leto. The photo is from the 1997 premiere of the film Nowhere. “Ahhh… 90’s style [sic]. Going through some old photos and pretty sure @gwenstefani inspired my hair style, @drewbarrymore inspired these eyebrows and @jaredleto inspired my leather choker. 🤪 😛🤣 Big fan of all of them ! #tbt,” she confessed in the caption.  The third featured Witherspoon in a red zip-up leather jacket and sporty black crop top with white trim–one of her many fabulous looks from the 1996 film Freeway.  Later on in the video, she shared a separate photo from Freeway’s premiere bash; in true ’90s fashion Witherspoon can be seen sporting cherry-red lipstick, a funky up-do, and blue eyeshadow.  The fourth photo, however, was a snap of the actress in character from a different film–this time from the 1996 psychological thriller Fear. Her outfit is one that stood the test of time, as the oversized denim jacket and slip-style dress has made a comeback in recent years.  Witherspoon really delivered with this one, as the Surface producer shared a few more iconic ’90s looks from film festivals and premieres in her video (which you can view in its entirety in the embedded post above).  More Pop Culture:
