Wade. Hallelujah! #allglorybetoGod,” she captioned the post. Social media showed up and showed out with its usual bout of reactions on both sides of the fence. Many Twitter users were outraged about her opinions and pro-life stance on the topic, while others expressed understanding and respect for her point of view, standing in solidarity with the actress. One user commended Elise for her perspective, commenting, “Kimberly Elise is the hero we all need right now!! Speak the truth!!” while another chimed in, “I just found out Kimberly Elise is a real one!” On the other hand, opposing-view social media users offered suggestions for the actress, with one tweeting, “Why not focus on the kids who are actually here who need homes.” Still, others were indifferent, with one recognizing, “Kimberly Elise is entitled to her opinion… I don’t agree with her but it is what it is…” and another saying the attention needs to shift off of what Elise said and focus on how to move forward in light of the situation.
