The Knives Out: A Glass Onion Mystery actress divulged that while her family has “so many” Christmas traditions, there’s one in particular that her three children—son Ryder, 18, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, son Bingham, 11, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and daughter Rani Rose, 4, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa—truly look forward to every year. “‘The Night Before Christmas’ — every night we read the book. And Santa knows… Usually when the kids are going to sleep, Santa shows up, and it’s really wild because the kids can’t believe it,” Hudson told E! News. “And the kids just go nuts. So, they go right to sleep. And Santa usually leaves hints about what he likes to drink and eat at night,” she continued.  “And some years, it’s cookies and milk,” the 43-year-old explained of the snacks, noting that other years, “it’s like rum and coke and licorice. Some years, he’s looking more like a dirty martini because he needs the break." The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress previously opened up about her non-traditional family, noting that she feels like she’s “killing it” when it comes to co-parenting with three fathers. “The unit that I’ve created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it’s ours,” she candidly told The Sunday Times. “I’m not interested in forcing some conventional idea of love or marriage. I’d like to be able to grow intimately with my partner for a long time, but I also don’t have rose-colored glasses on.” “My goal in life is that I want to feel love and I want to give love, but I’m also practical, so, one day at a time,” Hudson added. “I work really hard at relationships because I like them. My parents have done an amazing job of continuing that dance.” In a recent cover story with Byrdie, she revealed she wasn’t ruling out having more children in the future, noting, “I don’t even know if I’m done yet.” As for her career, during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she shared that she’s pouring herself into recording an album. “I’ve been making a record for like a year,” Hudson explained, adding, “Every time you’re doing interviews, people are like ‘Do you have any regrets?’ And I’m like, ‘I’m early 40s, not yet.’” “I’ve been writing music since I was 19 and I’ve never shared it and so I thought that would be one of my great regrets,” Hudson said. “I have no expectations. I just want to put a record out and so I’m doing it and I’m really excited.” The Fool’s Gold star said she expects that it will come out sometime next year.
