The duo joined forces on the sensual ballad, which premiered the official music video on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 11 p.m. EST. Fans initially got a taste of what to expect from the video, which featured the stars on set showing off their moves and surrounded by female dancers. It also spotlighted Timberlake’s vocals as he crooned: “You already know this love is all yours, baby/ So take it/We’ve been here before, it’s strong enough to save us, oh baby.” The teaser followed up on another one shared earlier in the week, which revealed a little behind-the-scenes of the music video set. The track is from Santos’ new album titled Formula, Vol. 3, which follows 2012’s Formula, Vol. 1 and 2014’s Formula, Vol. 2. Since the album and track fully embrace bachata—a genre of music that originated in the Dominican and what Santos has become known for—it brought Timberlake into brand new territory. Santos, who is a huge JT fan, admitted he was in awe of how the singer put his own sound on it. “He said, ‘I dig this.’ What I respect about JT is he not only recorded his vocals but he turned that song that now I feel was at 30% into something completely different for the better,” Santos told Billboard. “He changed the melody, the lyrics; he wrote, he produced. There was a moment where I was at the studio and he was directing my guitarist.
