Sheeran joins coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Ariana Grande to mentor the remaining artists who have made it through the Battle Rounds, as each team prepares for the Knockouts, beginning Monday, Oct. 25. In the Knockout Rounds, each coach pairs up two artists from their team to perform against each other. But unlike the Battle Rounds, in which the paired artists perform the same song in a duet, in the Knockout Rounds, the artists each perform a song individually selected for them. Then, each coach picks the winner who will advance to the Live Playoffs. Each coach has one steal in the Knockouts. Sheeran will guide the artists in their vocal and technical choices and tailor the artists’ songs to their strengths to bolster each performance. The Voice coaches and their artists have already had the opportunity to work with music industry powerhouses as advisors this season, including Dierks Bentley (Blake), Jason Aldean (Kelly), Camila Cabello (John), and Kristen Chenoweth (Ariana), who helped prepare the artists as they got ready to go head-to-head in the Battle Rounds. Sheeran has seen record-breaking sales across his recorded music and live performances, garnering a plethora of award wins behind some of the biggest songs in history. A four-time Grammy Award winner, Sheeran has amassed more than 60 billion streams and sold more than 50 million albums globally to date. He is also one of only six artists to have three songs earn RIAA Diamond-certification and his most recent world tour made history as the most-attended, highest-grossing tour of all time. Sheeran’s latest studio album = – featuring the chart-topping lead single “Bad Habits” and its recently released follow-up “Shivers”—is set to arrive everywhere on Oct. 29. The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Next, Everything You Need to Know About Season 21 of The Voice
