The exciting new release comes right before Parton’s 77th birthday on Jan. 19. The star has been recreated in Funko form for two different figurines. One shows the musician in her 2014 Glastonbury outfit–a white bedazzled pantsuit with a matching guitar. The other doll depicts Parton in an orange ensemble with fringe and sparkle as she holds a banjo, an outfit the singer wore to a benefit concert that also took place in 2014. The Parton figurine wearing the white outfit stands at approximately 4.37 inches tall, while the orange-outfitted figurine is slightly taller at approximately 4.50 inches. The Funko POP! dolls are currently available for pre-order. Parton’s figurine with the benefit concert outfit is available for pre-order on the Funko website and Walmart.com, while the Glastonbury version is a Funko exclusive. The price varies between $12 and $20 depending on which version it is and the accessories it comes with, as Walmart also offers a POP! Protector case. Funko also announced the news on social media, writing, “Striking a heart-felt chord with her fans all over the world, Dolly Parton inspires happiness and goodwill towards all. Keep her songs and words close with POP! Rocks Dolly Parton.” Parton has released many classics over the years and made a huge impact on the music industry, and recently, she released a new version of her well-known song, “9 to 5.” Originally released in 1980 to accompany the comedy movie of the same name, the song earned Parton two Grammys and an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. In 2022, Parton transformed “9 to 5” into a duet with Kelly Clarkson, which they performed on Clarkson’s popular talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
