Elliott joins Lacey Chabert, his Crossword Mysteries co-star who recently signed a contract with the feel-good network. Elliott, has been a fan favorite on Hallmark Channel and has starred in several of the network’s most popular films including All of My Heart trilogy and Christmas in Vienna. “Brennan brings tremendous talent and charisma to every role,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks. “He’s a joy to work with and we look forward to collaborating with him on new movies we know our viewers will fall in love with.” Elliott began his relationship with Hallmark Channel when he was cast as “villain” Warren Saget in Cedar Cove, the network’s first original series. He has also starred in UnREAL, Hawaii Five-O, and Flashpoint. Most recently, he starred in Hallmark Channel’s The Perfect Pairing with Nazneen Contractor and Open by Christmas opposite Alison Sweeney. “It’s been a dream to have worked with the wonderfully creative and supportive team at Hallmark over the years,” Elliott enthused. “I’m thrilled to continue this relationship that’s meant so much to me and have the opportunity to bring to life new characters and tell stories that will make people smile.” Hallmark is working quickly to lock in fan-favorite stars as upstart rival network GAC Family (headed by former Hallmark Channel President and CEO Bill Abbott) snaps up some of Hallmark’s biggest stars.
